Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant is invested by Hoa Sen Yen Bai Building Materials One Member Limited Liabilties Company with investment capital of VND 1,050 billion, on an area of 20 hectares in 02 communes of Minh Quan and Bao Hung commune, Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province. The plant is expected to produce two main types of products, including corrugated sheet and steel pipes, with 3 phases: The first phase (March 2017 - September 2018) includes 6 steel pipe production lines with capacity of 60,000 tons per year and one steelsheet production line with capacity of 4,000 tons per year; The second phase (September 2018- March 2020) consists of six steel pipe production lines with capacity of 60,000 tons per year and one steelsheet production line with capacity of 4,000 tons per year and the third phase (March 2020 - September 2021) has ten steel pipe production lines with capacity of 100,000 tons per year.

Over the past three years, Hoa Sen Group has consistently built new factories to improve its production capacity and optimized the supply of steel sheet, steel pipe and plastic pipe products to the market. Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant is the fifth factory of Hoa Sen Group in the North region and one of the eleven main factories of the Group across the country. Currently, Hoa Sen Group owns a system of more than 250 distribution - retail branches throughout the country. It is targeted to the end of 2018 that the Group will have 500 branches. The project of Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant is one of the key projects and key links to achieve the set objectives. In addition to contributing to meet domestic steel demand, after completion and overall operation, Hoa Sen Yen Bai Steel Pipe Plant will contribute significantly to the local budget and create jobs for 400 employees and improvement to the socio-economic life of Yen Bai province.
